What is a Solution Block?
A Solution Block is a 4 hour block of time. Your VA commits to logging his/her time on your work specifically to you and no one else. Your first Solution Block is free when you sign up for your trial, so you will be getting 8 hours of work for the cost of one Solution Block!

What is Time-On-Task billing?
Time-On-Task Billing means you only pay for the time actually spent on your project. You only pay for what you need! You never need to think about paying for untimely sick days, staff coming in late, surfing the Internet or time spent at the "water cooler". With Time-On-Task billing, you only pay for productivity and results.

What if I exceed my monthly commitment?
We will be in communication with you as your work progresses, so you will know if more Solution Blocks are needed in a particular month.

How do I track the progress or status of my projects?
We have a secure web-based project management program that will track every step of your project. You will have a unique sign-in with password for your company and all your projects are posted there. Your VA will keep it updated so you can long in any time and check on the status of your work. In addition, any time your VA posts an update, you will receive an email from the system.

How do I communicate with my VA as the project progresses?
You and your VA can determine what works best for both of you. Phone, fax, email and/or instant message are all acceptable and it’s completely up to you and your VA.

Will I speak to a new person every time I call?
You will be assigned a toll-free number specifically for your VA. Your calls will be routed through our call center, and the operator will connect you to your VA. If your VA is not available to speak at the moment, the operator will take a message and immediately send your VA an email with the message. Of course, you will have the VA’s email address also, so you can send an email anytime yourself.

Why would I contract a VA rather than a local secretarial service?
We will assign a VA to you who is highly skilled in the area(s) you need. Therefore, you are paying specifically for the skills you want and need. In addition, you are never paying for lunch breaks or time spent surfing the Internet. Another plus is that you continue to work with the same VA who gets to know you and your business. No more retraining and orienting a new secretary!

Is there a long term commitment requried?
That is up to you. You may need a VA for everyday tasks, such as scheduling and correspondence, or you may need a VA just for special projects that come up occasionally. We will work with you to help you determine how we can best help you, and we will match the VA to you that is most suited to your needs.

Isn’t this more expensive than hiring an employee?
Working with a VA is cost-effective in two ways: financial and emotional. With our Time-on-Task billing, you get exactly that: you are billed for the time spent on your tasks. You do not lose time because your staff member has a flat tire or has a sick child. You save money on overhead costs such as equipment and furniture. A secretary in your office is interrupted constantly and cannot focus 100% on your task. Your VA can! Another big plus is the elimination of all administrative paperwork such as payroll taxes, insurance and other benefits. Entrepreneur Magazine recently printed an article in which 3 business owners cite the cost savings of hiring a VA. Click to read
